I'm really happy with this month's glambag. Shipment came in early and the bag is cute with its gold glitteriness. The products in here I practically use everyday which is good. They got my shade of lipstick right this time. Yay! I'll review the products individually throughout this week.

Smartphone

I finally got a smartphone (about time!)  I had an old 2007 Katana phone by Sanyo. I was in desperate need for an upgrade.

I got the mytouch 4g by LG. I also switched phone companies from KDDI to T-mobile. KDDI was going to charge me way too much for a new smartphone. I thought they would give me a better deal since I was with them for 5 years but I guess it doesn't work that way. T-mobile lets me have unlimited text, data and 500 talk minutes for $60 a month. I'm still getting used to using a smartphone. I don't do much right now. I just check my email and post pics on facebook. I'm just so lazy inputting in everyones phone numbers.

Right now I have the standard cellphone cover. I wanna get cute ones soon!

Marc Jacobs pouch

I was searching through my archives and I couldn't find this post. I remember taking photos but I guess it never made it onto here. What's weird is that I couldn't located the photos on my computer or my copy of the magazine.

Sweet magazine always has brand name free items (fukuro). January issue came with 2 Marc Jacobs pouches and a Marc Jacobs calendar (not shown).

Vassen Little Mermaid Seaweed Green

I purchased Vassen Little Mermaid Seaweed Green from Pinky Paradise. They were having a 25% off promotion on their Mermaid Series. I originally bought all 4 colors: violent, green, brown and blue but Pinky emailed saying the violent was temporary sold out. They said it would be available after 2 months. I wasn't going to wait so they refunded that portion of the bill.

Wow. I really like the mermaid series! The design is unique. I like the hint of blue and yellow. It's a good mixture of the colors. The green color still pops out even with my brown eyes.

Comfort: 5/5
42% water content. This is the most water content I've worn for circle lens. It's honestly really comfortable. I did not need to use eyedrops. I wore these for 8hrs.

Enlargement: 5/5
They do enlarge well for me especially when wearing my gyaru-inspired make-up.

Overall: 5/5
When I wear circle lens, people don't usually comment on my eyes but today a few people commented saying this pair suited me well. I can't wait to try the other colors from this series.


Lighting is terrible. Had to take photos with the bathroom light since I came home 10pm.

National Donut Day

Today is national donut day so all the mainstream donut places like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts were offering free donuts. Sho and I went to get some donuts at Krispy Kreme. We went during the afternoon but the staff said they were already sold out. LIES! I saw a bunch of crates with plain donuts in the back! T_T To make our trip not wasted. We bought a dozen donuts for us and sho's family. My family is really anal on sweets so I can't bring them home.
