Gift from Sayuri

So my best friend Sayuri, who now lives in New York, came back from a recent trip to Japan. She sent me a package containing omiyage (souvenir)!

I actually requested Starbucks Japan tumbler. They release limited items once a year during the Sakura season. I'm so happy she got me one. I already ate the Kit Kats and Hawaiian chocolates lol.

I can't wait to try the beauty products and sip Hojicha Latte in my new tumbler.

Thank you again Sayuri!

Sayuri's Birthday Gift

The day after my birthday, I had lunch with Sayuri at Kagura. We talked about school, boyfriends, jobs etc. You know, girl talk. After we finished eating, I opened her present. It was a huge box. I was like "OMG. I hope you didn't spend too much". She knew I liked those monthly makeup bags so she created a makeup bag for me. OMG SHE IS SO SWEET! It was very sweet. My heart was touched!! *kisses* >u<//

A week prior, I told her that I liked e.l.f's new holiday collection and she bought be the 96 eyeshadow palette and lip gloss set. And wow look at all the pa nail polishes. I'm in nail polish heaven. I'm just in aww now. I can't wait to try the nails once finals are over. OMG.

THANK YOU SAYURI

LA Lights

[THROWBACK POST]

I've been really busy with school. The projects just keep piling up. I haven't been doing anything exciting so I'm gonna do a throwback post.

This was taken back in April. Nikki was moving back to Hawaii. So we had a small, private goodbye party in LA.

Friends Wedding

Last week sunday, I attended my boyfriends' friend's wedding. He is the first from their high school group to get married. The wedding was held at Trump National Golf course. The location is like 15mins away from my house so I wasn't stressing about traffic or anything. We arrived 10mins before the wedding ceremony started. We signed our name, gave them our gift,  received fans and program. It was an outdoor wedding so the fans were useful in blocking the hot sun. The wedding was in both English and Korean. The food was buffet style with Korean dishes. The wedding cake was strawberry shortcake. The wedding was really elegant. I really liked the color theme and flowers. We enjoyed it.

Sayuri Bday

I'm in the blogging mode today so I'm putting old posts in their respective dates.

Sayuri invited me to her birthday dinner. It was just her family, her bf, and me. I feel so special.

Nisei Week

Another old event that I forgot to post. This took place back in August.

There was a small la gyaru meetup for Nisei Week. I invited Sayuri to meet my la gyaru friends that I've been telling her about. I remember it being an extremely hot day and I wore black HA! This was also Kayo's last day in America so it was a good opportunity for Sayuri to meet her before she leaves.

Outside!

GAL Birthday!

Trying to update social gatherings and what not from July to present. So many pictures!

So back in July, we had a birthday celebration for 4 gals (Cici, Michi, Nana, and Nicole). The plan was to have lunch at Botega Louie then dessert in K-town.

Rainforest Cafe + D-Street

Kevin and Sho were bugging me every month on how I've been neglecting Disneyland. Being a premium annual pass holder, I've been technically wasting $30 a month by not going. I'm supposed to be going at least twice a month to make up for the admission for both parks. So I decided to make time for Disneyland. Had a late dinner at Rainforest Cafe then headed off to Disney to ride on Star Tours. Every time I go on that ride, they always pick me as the "spy" of the ride. It must be the gold/blonde hair. *chuckles* We mainly spent the rest of the night at the shops. I like the new vinylmation's they released. I have my eyes on the Alice in Wonderland collection. >.>

Goodbye Steve

Another good friend of mine is moving! My friend, Steve, who I met in jr. college in 2006 is moving to Wisconsin to become a Radiologist. He says there's not many schools in cali that offer the program. Out-of-state was his only option. *SAD* Anyways, we met up at a halfway point which is Irvine. He lives in Corona; a 2hr drive from my location. We had lunch at Kula sushi then got boba at 85 degree. He drove around to Target and Bed Bath & Beyond for dorm furniture. He has to share a house with 7 roommates (yikes) but he gets to have his own room. We said our goodbyes and parted ways.

Meeting Kayo

8.08.2012
I met Kayo Goto. She's a gyaru from Tokyo who is traveling all over the world to meet gyuarus. Meet up time was at Little Tokyo at 3pm. I left my house later than expected so I arrived at 4pm. The girls were eating at Curry House. I arrived just when the waiter started taking our orders (excited timing). I always order the Curry Rice Plate. A small curry plate (shrimp, chicken, vegetable or beef) with fried shrimp, soup and salad for $9.95. We did self introductions, video interview for Kayo, and take pictures. Afterwards, we walked all over Little Tokyo. The weather was uber hot so we made little pit stops at a boba shop and pinkberry to cool off. Ended the evening somewhat early because everyone lived far. I enjoyed meeting new gals.

Aimerfeel

Soo.. back in mid-july.. I took my best friend Sayuri to Shibuya LA (both locations). I took her to the clothing shop first. I found a few outfits that I liked and she found a few tops too but we both weren't in the mood to try on clothes. We headed to the lingerie shop which sells underwear from Japan. Elly & Grace were both working. I introduced Sayuri to Elly and Grace. We made small talk. They convinced us to try on some bras. The sizes are a bit different compared to US. My A32 is a D70 in Asia! WOW! @__@ *confidence boost*

We tried on their best seller. What can I say.. These bras are AMAZING! Grace helped us adjust the bra for maximum cleavage. YES! We ended up purchasing them. HA! I'm no longer buying from Victoria's Secret. Aimerfeel has cute, unique designs that you can't compare to VS. Shibuya LA wins.

Price: Bra set $50

Us messing around in the dressing room

Afterwards, grabbed some boba at TenRens.

Came back to Sayuri's place. Her boyfriend texted her to check the sky. Beautiful colors!
Bye!
