Hello Everyone!
I'm so happy it's the weekend. During the week, I couldn't blog as much as I wanted to because I had to help clean my parents rental property. Someone moved out wednesday so I had to be around the place to let people in (electrician, plumber, etc) during the week to check/fix things so the new tenant can move in. It didn't seem like I had much work to do cause the maids generally did all work the day before. I just had to steam vacuum the living room and scrub the shower doors in one of the bathrooms. I worked from 9am-1pm. My mom bought me bento and gave me $200 for cleaning. I'm gonna buy some new Liz Lisa stuff soon.
Here's some Daiso stuff I bought the other day. I love the big bows. I thought it would look well with some of the clothes I have.
My face is getting so chubby. Haven't worked out since summer started. x_x
The top I'm wearing is Liz Lisa. I got it from the winter fukuburo :)

Chanti Eyelash #120
My friend, Sayuri, gave me her old un-used eyelashes post. She did try one out but I think she either had too many or it wasn't her type. This is just an addition to my vast collection of eyelashes *_*

Anime Expo 2013 Day 1
I was working 8hour shifts at the Maid Cafe during AX so pictures were taken by Sho and edited by me.
AX 2013 Purchases
Here's what I bought during AX. This year some of Japan's popular fashion brands: Liz Lisa, Liz Lisa Doll, Tralala, Ma*rs, GOLDS infinity, and GLAVIL by tutuHA came to AX. It's the first of its kind. Since Japanese manga/anime are so popular they wanted to see how the brands would market in America. It's a good idea cause Anime Expo attracts over 61,000 people. It's a good way to get the brand out there. There are just a couple problems.. price and audience. For the price, I thought it was good considering the importing/shipment coming to America. They didn't over charge customers but they charge california tax. Somme AX goers might be intimidated with the price and move on to the next booth. Even though AX brings in 60k people, AX target is the stereotypical otaku. Most of the attendees where male who had no interest or no girlfriends to buy gal brands. A lot of the LA gyaru worked/came to support the brands. It was nice to see them even for few minutes. ^_^ I didn't have my camera on me so I don't have much pics with them *sad* Some brands struggled but I know Ma*rs and Liz Lisa did well. AX was a good stepping stone to spread gyaru fashion! *cheers*

Sayuri's Gift
Happy Monday!
It's 3am in california. I'm a night owl which is why I always have puffy/baggy eyes. Anime Expo was last week and I've been meaning to make a post about the event but this is more important!
My best friend Sayuri came back from Tokyo recently. She was there for two weeks for an educational tour. She and 24 other students visited Sendai, Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka. All the activities and places she visited sounded really exciting. It would be nice to do all the touristy things for once. They offer winter and summer session but you can only do the program once. So I must plan accordingly. I need to look more into the program.
Here's the omiyage/souvenir she got me. I really appreciate it. I'm so thankful for wonderful friends like her! ^o^////

Maybelline Volum'Express The Mega Plush Mascara
I was in need of a new mascara before Anime Expo so I bought this one from CVS.
Description from Maybelline website
Product Info
Name: Volum'Express Mascara
Type: 270 Blackest Black
Weight: .3fl oz 9ml
Price: $7.49 USD
Overall: 5/5
Love this mascara. I love the wand bristles, so many for my thin lashes hehe. I didn't get the chance to take photos but with 5 coats, my lashes look thick and much fuller. Oh well, on an everyday basis I would only use two coats anyway. I read on the reviews that this mascara flakes. After using this for a week now. It doesn't flake for me. The label says this is washable but doesn't come off with just soap and water. It's better to use an oil free make-up remover.
Pros
- Adds volume
- Doesn't flake
- No smudge
Cons
- Doesn't come off with soap and water like the label says.
- Bristles might be too much for people who have thin lashes.
Description from Maybelline website
