Happy Easter 2015

April 4th

Went to Disneyland with Sho, Kevin and his friend Michi to do in their Easter Egg hunt called "Disney Egg-stravaganza". From March 27-April 5, Disney fans can search for eggs at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Disney Epcot. To participate, guests have to pick up a map and stickers for $4.95 at certain locations. Place the stickers to the corresponding locations on the map and redeem it for a special Disney character egg. You can purchase multiple maps to get more prizes. Honestly, you don't have to complete the map to get the prize but thats the lazy way so go around the park and have fun!

Valentine's Day 2014 + Sho's Japan Photos

This years Valentine's Day was kinda depressing. Sho had to take an emergency trip to Tokyo. Like really last minute trip. I was sad because he would be gone 2/12-2/18 so he would be missing Valentine's Day again. Last year he missed it because of he had to work overtime. He said he would make it up with gifts. He asked me what I wanted so I said anything Liz Lisa and Kit Kat :D I gave him the 20% coupon I received from the 2014 Liz Lisa Luggage, might as well since he'll be there during the discount time.

I didn't have a party this year again. I just don't have the time nor the money to host party at my house. Senior year is killing me. I'm hoping to host a party next year once I graduate from university :)

Macross World Convention

October 5
Macross World Convention 2013 was held at the Ken Miller Auditorium in Torrance. Sho was super happy to attend this event. He's such a HUGE fan of Macross and the special guest was Hidetaka Tenjin, one of the best mecha artists for the series.

Ramen Burger West Coast Debut

So a couple weeks ago there was a Ramen Burger event in Torrance. Keizo Shimamoto invented the Ramen Burger in Brooklyn, New York. He wanted to have a west coast debut but the problem was it was only to be served to the first 500 people. I saw tons of people even the local news posting the event on Facebook. You know for damn sure more than 500 people will show up and of course they did. News articles said over 1200 people showed up. People were waiting outside since 7am (event started at 11am). Sho and I arrived around 10:00am. Kevin came around 11 am and his friends came around 11:30am. We tried to keep ourselves busy so some of us took turns checking the bookstore and buying drinks in the market. We finally got inside the doors around 3:30pm. Here's the pics.

V-Day + Long Weekend

Hey everyone! I haven't made a real post since January. I know I say this in every post but I'm really behind on posts. I need to get my shit together and get organized. Not sure if it's due to my busy schedule or I'm just lazy. I need to get back into blogging mode. I'm thinking about setting a blogging schedule. Maybe post at least once a week.

V-Day Look
I decided to wear my short, blonde wig. It seemed to match well with my Liz Lisa outfit. I wish my dorm had a full length mirror so I could show it off. I woke up at 6:30am, sleepy with dark undereye bags. I'm not smiling in these photos cause it makes my face appear smaller. It looks better to have a thinner face with a bob hairstyle than my round face. (T^T)

First photo: I applied foundation and concealer on face and brown shadow for eyebrows. I look super weird without eyeliner.


Second photo: Applied the rest of my make-up on. I turned on my super bright desk lamp. Hoping it would act like a ring light.

The big V-Day!
So Valentine's Day was this past Thursday. I didn't get to spend time with my boyfriend due to our busy schedules. I get out of class at 7:15pm and he's working in Irvine. We knew like a month in advance that we wouldn't be spending v-day together. Plus we've been together for 6 years already so missing one vday isn't going to hurt us.

Anyways, I spent v-day night with my college friends. We had a chocolate party at my dorm! I bought all the supplies from various places: Costco, Micheals, Mitsuwa, Daiso, and CVS.

  

Belated V-Day
After my friday class was done, I packed up my bags from the dorm, went home to unload, then packed up more clothes for my long 5 day weekend getaway to my bf's place in Irvine. He only stays in Irvine during the weekdays for work then comes back to Torrance to see me/his family on the weekends. This time I wanted to pay him a visit since I have no school monday and tuesday. I arrived at his place pretty late. I gave him the chocolate dipped goodies that I made the previous night. My boyfriend gave me brownies and Evangelion toys. Loved it!




Long Weekend
I'm so happy I got a 5 day weekend. I finally caught up on sleep. Everyday I slept for 10hours. It felt amazing! My boyfriend took me out every night. We checked out South Coast Plaza, Irvine Spectrum, Diamond Plaza. The usual fun stuff in Irvine. Hope I can upload the photos.

GOOD NEWS! My lost USB was found. Nice IT guy found it and returned it to me. Now I can blog about old events lol.

Sayuri Bday

I'm in the blogging mode today so I'm putting old posts in their respective dates.

Sayuri invited me to her birthday dinner. It was just her family, her bf, and me. I feel so special.

Thanksgiving/Birthday/BlackFriday

Thanksgiving
In the morning, I went to Manhattan Beach for a morning workout. I wanted to do something so I can stuff myself and not feel guilty about my weight. This year I decided to spend thanksgiving with my boyfriends family. We usually have thanksgiving at my place during lunch and go to my boyfriends house for dinner but this year my dad prepared everything late so I just went to my boyfriends. They make thanksgiving enough for the day instead of the american way with eating leftovers for a week.

Black Friday
The stores this year wanted to start early. Target and Walmart decided to open 8pm & 9pm on thanksgiving. After dinner at boyfriends, we took a nap and woke up at midnight. We drove to Del Amo mall. The mall was extremely packed. More so this year than last. The longest line I saw was Urban Outfitters. The line for H&M was long as well so we decided to skip on that and headed towards Express. The entire store was 50% off (OMG). Sean bought a 2 collar shirts and a winter jacket. I bought myself a fur collar. My mom gave me $100 to buy my sister a few tops. We came back home at 1am, went to bed, then woke up again at 6am. We checked out JCP which was a fail. Too crowded and all the items we wanted were sold out. I was like "fuck this" and I drove to Century City mall near Beverly Hills. The mall was empty. I loved it. I could shop in peace. H&M still had their 5,7,10,20 dollar deals available. That is unheard of at Del Amo HA! Sean bought new shoes from Zara, shirts from H&M, and new running shoes from New Balance. We both bought clothing from Hollister for relatives in Japan. Birthday UGH. Another year older. My birthday falls on blackfriday. Last year was thanksgiving. LOL. How did I spend my birthday? Well by shopping of course :) The day passed by so fast.

Halloween

I woke up super early (6am) to prepare for halloween. Why so early? I have to make the 7:30a campus shuttle. Surprisingly putting on the wig took longer than applying make-up: Wig (30mins) & make-up (10mins). I was on campus the whole day and I swear only 3 people dressed up. I guess they were gonna dress up for the big campus halloween party that night.

I didn't feel like dancing so I took my friend Chelsea to Downtown Disney. We just walked around and checked out the shops.




They are already preparing for Christmas! It's barely november!
Checked out Sephora. Saw this gorgeous Cinderella display. If I wasn't saving money for my winter trip, I would totally buy the eyeshadow palette. It's $55 >.<

Nisei Week

Another old event that I forgot to post. This took place back in August. 

 There was a small la gyaru meetup for Nisei Week. I invited Sayuri to meet my la gyaru friends that I've been telling her about. I remember it being an extremely hot day and I wore black HA! This was also Kayo's last day in America so it was a good opportunity for Sayuri to meet her before she leaves.
