Downtown Disney with Kelly

On June 28th, I hung out with Kelly (instagram). We met at a gyaru event back in 2011 then worked  together for Swankiss at Anime Expo in 2014. We decided to hangout at Downtown Disney cause it's a good middle point from our locations. The weather was extremely hot that day. I didn't expect it to be 90+ degree weather. We were melting. We kept cool chatting in World of Disney store as we waited to be seated for lunch at La Brea bakery. She brought her sister, Nicole, and her sister's bf, Yuuzo (I hope I'm spelling it right) along and I brought my friend Kevin and Sho.

Happy Easter 2015

April 4th

Went to Disneyland with Sho, Kevin and his friend Michi to do in their Easter Egg hunt called "Disney Egg-stravaganza". From March 27-April 5, Disney fans can search for eggs at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Disney Epcot. To participate, guests have to pick up a map and stickers for $4.95 at certain locations. Place the stickers to the corresponding locations on the map and redeem it for a special Disney character egg. You can purchase multiple maps to get more prizes. Honestly, you don't have to complete the map to get the prize but thats the lazy way so go around the park and have fun!

Halloween at Disneyland

October 4

Bought tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland before my ankle injury. Couldn't cancel so I went with Sho and Kevin. Sho and I dressed up as Chip and Dale. Kevin was Stitch. People loved our outfits. Later on, we met up with Kevin's friends inside the park. My ankle started hurting after a few hours so I took a lot of breaks resting. Disney was trying to be health conscious this year. They served healthy bars and apples. Some of the kids were complaining that they weren't giving out the good stuff this year. LOL. I noticed they stopped serving Skittles and Starburst. Kind of a let down but it was fun. Last year I was into Starburst. This year I'm really into Whoopers.

Halloween

I woke up super early (6am) to prepare for halloween. Why so early? I have to make the 7:30a campus shuttle. Surprisingly putting on the wig took longer than applying make-up: Wig (30mins) & make-up (10mins). I was on campus the whole day and I swear only 3 people dressed up. I guess they were gonna dress up for the big campus halloween party that night.

I didn't feel like dancing so I took my friend Chelsea to Downtown Disney. We just walked around and checked out the shops.




They are already preparing for Christmas! It's barely november!
Checked out Sephora. Saw this gorgeous Cinderella display. If I wasn't saving money for my winter trip, I would totally buy the eyeshadow palette. It's $55 >.<

Labor Day Weekend: Ayu Concert + Disneyland

I love Tuesdays. No class! I can blog. Events that happened last week.

Saturday 9.01.2012
Attended two concert movie screenings by Ayumi Hamasaki in 3D. The first one was Arena Tour 2009 Next Level and the second was Rock 'n Roll Circus Tour Final 7days Special. I dragged Sho with me. He's like "Don't you already have these DVDs?" I'm like "DUH! but I wanna see in 3D". I think Ayu is planning to have a concert here in the future so these concert screenings might be a test. The screenings were shown at Downtown Independent. From the outside it doesn't look like a movie theatre. The lobby area is super small but theatre part was big. I think there's only 2 movie rooms. Sho obviously slept through the first concert it but was awake for the second one. lol.





Sunday 9.02.2012 
Drove to Disneyland with Kevin and Sho to check out Cars Land in California Adventure. This was the first time we actually stayed at the park for the whole day. Cars Land is so awesome! I love the new food menu *fatty* ^_^

We checked out Cozy Cone Motel. It's a eating area shaped in orange cones based off of the movie. There are 5 cones each one offering different drinks (alcohol &a non-alcohol) and food. Disney stepped it up a notch.

Rainforest Cafe + D-Street

Kevin and Sho were bugging me every month on how I've been neglecting Disneyland. Being a premium annual pass holder, I've been technically wasting $30 a month by not going. I'm supposed to be going at least twice a month to make up for the admission for both parks. So I decided to make time for Disneyland. Had a late dinner at Rainforest Cafe then headed off to Disney to ride on Star Tours. Every time I go on that ride, they always pick me as the "spy" of the ride. It must be the gold/blonde hair. *chuckles* We mainly spent the rest of the night at the shops. I like the new vinylmation's they released. I have my eyes on the Alice in Wonderland collection. >.>

Disneyland or any disney store in california doesn't have appealing clothes for adults so I decided to buy overseas. I found this cute Minnie top from Yumetenbo. At the time all the colors were still available. I choose charcoal grey one.

Went to Disneyland the day after New Years Day. I wanted to see the Christmas decorations before they took them down. In the beginning we were really excited to be there, we just renewed our premium annual passes which we got an extra $20 off of. We mainly walked around and checked out the gift shops cause the park was packed. We only rode on the carousel and Peter Pan. We stood in line for Peter Pan for over an 1hr (ride kept on breaking down). Afterwards, we both felt lethargic. We just didn't wait to be there anymore so we left. HAHA! That day wasn't our day. We just didn't want to deal with the holiday crowds.
