The Sephora store near me doesn't sell my Time Balm concealer anymore but it's still available to purchase online :( Lame! I didn't want my driving to go to waste so I asked the employee to give me the next best concealer. She tried two concealers on me. Secret Concealer and Secret Camouflage. I chose the Secret Concealer because I wanted to not only cover my freckles but also my dark circles. Plus it's creamy for my winter dry skin. The other concealer, Secret Camouflage, didn't provide enough coverage and it was too much of a hassle to blend.

Chinese New Year Parade

January 28, 2012

Chinatown in LA had their annual 113th Golden Dragon Parade. My mom had some free time so she wanted to watch it. I remember being in the parade back in middle school when I use to take Kung Fu (was a Jet Li fan). We found a good spot right where the parade begins. I brought a foldable chair for my mom to sit while I stood up. Kinda sad that I didn't see my old Kung Fu school in the parade. There were lots of marching bands, politicians, and a random batmobile.












After the parade, everyone was either running to leave LA to beat traffic or running to eat. We rushed over the nearest restaurant called Hop Li. I ordered BBQ Roasted Duck and my mother ordered Rock Cod on vegetables. Yum!

Minnie Stripe top + Disneyland

Disneyland or any disney store in california doesn't have appealing clothes for adults so I decided to buy overseas. I found this cute Minnie top from Yumetenbo. At the time all the colors were still available. I choose charcoal grey one.

Went to Disneyland the day after New Years Day. I wanted to see the Christmas decorations before they took them down. In the beginning we were really excited to be there, we just renewed our premium annual passes which we got an extra $20 off of. We mainly walked around and checked out the gift shops cause the park was packed. We only rode on the carousel and Peter Pan. We stood in line for Peter Pan for over an 1hr (ride kept on breaking down). Afterwards, we both felt lethargic. We just didn't wait to be there anymore so we left. HAHA! That day wasn't our day. We just didn't want to deal with the holiday crowds.

Shopping w/ Sayuri

Last friday, I drove Sayuri to Rowland Heights. We checked out cute stores, drank boba, took purikura, and ate korean pizza. I forgot to bring my camera to capture our fun day. There's always next time!

Fur Bag

White fur bag with a white & gold chain. It can be a shoulder bag or a clutch bag. The fur makes the bag look big but it's a pretty small bag. Could barely fit my wallet, phone, and car keys.

Diet update

So I started dieting a week ago. I'm keeping a food journal on the side. I'm wondering if I should also post it on my blog. Not sure though cause some days I just eat the same bland food and it's kinda boring lol.

Last week, I was doing alright. I'm seeing my personal trainer, Lori, two times a week instead of one. Still eating a bowl of salad before eating my regular meal. I gotta say, eating a bowl of salad really fills you up! By the time I finish my salad, I barely touch my regular meal. I stopped eating fast food and drinking soda *cries* It's for the best!

On friday, I did go out for lunch with Sayuri. Sweet potato pizza, salad & chicken wings. Uh-oh. Ate the salad first then had 2 slices of pizza and 2 chicken wings. Afterwards, we went to the mall and walked around so we probably burned off some calories. HA!

DKNY Tote & Pouch

A while back, Sayuri bought me Oct issue of SWEET magazine. I finally had the chance to open it today. Ayumi Hamasaki is on the front cover. The fukuro (free item) in this issue was a DKNY canvas tote and cute PR gal pouch.

New Dresser

New furniture for 2012!

My dad donated his big clunker dresser to Goodwill and wanted mine cause it was smaller. He gave me $150 to find a new one. I went to IKEA with Sho and found a 4-draw dresser from MALM series for $99.99.

I also bought two sets of 6 organizer boxes for $7.99 per set.
After two hours of building the dresser.. here it is!

Diet

Diets Diets Diets...

Everyone I know is one some kind of diet. I'm surrounded by people dieting and I feel like crap. I want/need to go on a diet but here I am stuffing myself silly with yummy food. Ah!

I look back at old pictures and it makes me so sad how thin I used to be. Back then I didn't have to deal with muffin top or love handles. So depressing. But then again.. I was really into being healthy and fit. I need that motivation back.

For my diet, I'll start slow. I can't cut everything at once. I'll go into shock. LOL. For now, I'll eat a bowl of salad before I eat a regular meal. The salad should fill me up so I won't eat as much reg. food. I'll also reduce my soda intake to one can a day then eventually replace it with Perrier or another bubbly type drink w/ 0 calories.

Tokidoki Eyeshadow

More eyeshadow to add to my mini collection. This time it's tokidoki.

I wanted to make this a separate post from sayuri's gift. This is just too cute! I haven't used the eyeshadow yet. My eyes still need to heal from my eye infection. Found out the hard way tonight >_o

Finally got the chance to post this...

My friend, Sayuri, gave me this awesome gift for my b-day (Nov 23) lol I love this Victoria's Secret Pajama set. The pj's remind me of Tsubasa Masuwaka's Dolly Wink design. She also gave me VS socks and eyeshadow from Tokidoki which I'll post tomorrow.

Weight Issues

Eff.. this eye infection. I wanna go out!~

Anyways...

Everyone's typical new years resolution is weight loss. I'm going through some weight issues. I gained like 5lbs this winter break. All the yummy x-mas and new years food. I could not help it. My face got chubbier and now I have a belly. My boyfriend's like "you better start working out"(ノД`)・゜・。

Today, I watched Mecha Ike short for "Mecha Mecha Iketeru". Japanese comedian Okamura Takashi wanted to do a comeback collaboration with Exile to be Okaxile. LOL. The last time he did the collab was 4 years ago. Now he's fat and the members told him he would have to lose weight first before he can perform. He was on a strict 30 day diet along with dance practice and intense workouts. He went from a BMI 26% to BMI 20%. The show totally motivated me to workout and diet again. Must work out. Wish me luck!
