Rainforest Cafe + D-Street

Kevin and Sho were bugging me every month on how I've been neglecting Disneyland. Being a premium annual pass holder, I've been technically wasting $30 a month by not going. I'm supposed to be going at least twice a month to make up for the admission for both parks. So I decided to make time for Disneyland. Had a late dinner at Rainforest Cafe then headed off to Disney to ride on Star Tours. Every time I go on that ride, they always pick me as the "spy" of the ride. It must be the gold/blonde hair. *chuckles* We mainly spent the rest of the night at the shops. I like the new vinylmation's they released. I have my eyes on the Alice in Wonderland collection. >.>

Dragon Fruit roll-on perfume oil

This item was included in my aug subscription from myglam. Not sure what scent other users got but I received Dragon Fruit. It comes in a small glass bottle with a roll-on applicator. It's really small. You can carry it in your pocket or make-up bag. The scent has a sweet, tropical smell to it. I've eaten dragon fruit before but forgot the smell. The retail price for this is $10.00 so this perfume oil alone paid for my subscription.

Goodbye Steve

Another good friend of mine is moving! My friend, Steve, who I met in jr. college in 2006 is moving to Wisconsin to become a Radiologist. He says there's not many schools in cali that offer the program. Out-of-state was his only option. *SAD* Anyways, we met up at a halfway point which is Irvine. He lives in Corona; a 2hr drive from my location. We had lunch at Kula sushi then got boba at 85 degree. He drove around to Target and Bed Bath & Beyond for dorm furniture. He has to share a house with 7 roommates (yikes) but he gets to have his own room. We said our goodbyes and parted ways.

Vassen Little Mermaid Ocean Blue

I purchased Vassen Little Mermaid Ocean Blue from Pinky Paradise back in April. As a promotion in introducing their new Mermaid Series, the lenses were 25% off.  I originally bought all 4 colors: violent, green, brown and blue but PP emailed saying the violent was temporary sold out. They said it would be available after 2 months. I wasn't going to wait so they refunded that portion of the bill.

Lens Info
Diameter: 14.5
Water Content: 42%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal
Package: One pair of lenses and one animal lens case

What it looks like in person

Price: Original price $23.90. I got it for $17.93 (25% off during promotion).

I paid for the express shipping on April 2nd and it arrived April 9th.

Color/Design: 4/5
I like the unique design but honestly the color is more purple than blue. It's just too similar to the violet lens.

Comfort: 4/5 Whenever I put the lens in my left eye, the vision is a bit blurry but it later adjusts in a 1 min. I have no problems with it afterwards. My eyes were moist throughout the day.

Enlargement: 5/5

I love the enlargement on my eyes. It's pretty obvious that I'm wearing colored lens. My boyfriend says the color is too bold for my face. I still like it though.

Overall: 4/5

I guess the major problem I have with this pair is the color. I wish it were more blue instead of blue-purple. I'm also wearing these contacts in this post.

Dorm Room

I finished moving yesterday night into my room. My floral bedding hasn't arrived yet so my bed looks a little plain. I just brought over my hello kitty blanket from my house. The rest of the photos is what my place looks like. I share this with two other girls. They are super nice :)

Moving + boba

Oh man since wednesday all I've been doing is moving stuff into my dorm. The official move-in day is today at 12pm. I was lucky to be able to check-in on wednesday so I can move in my stuff little by little instead of all in one day. That's too exhausting. I also requested a single bedroom. I hope someone cancels out so I can get my own room. If I don't get it, then no worries cause I don't mind sharing. On friday, I attended a convocation, a little ceremony where I became an official student of my university. :D

On saturday, Sho took me to Honey Boba. A new boba place that opened near my house. I ordered Pineapple Grapefruit Ice Crystal and Sho ordered Ohau Pineapple Ice Tea. He didn't like his drink. It didn't taste like pineapple at all. It tasted more like jasmine. Besides Sho's disappointing boba, we really liked the interior of the place. I wished my room looked like the interior.

Meeting Kayo

I met Kayo Goto. She's a gyaru from Tokyo who is traveling all over the world to meet gyuarus. Meet up time was at Little Tokyo at 3pm. I left my house later than expected so I arrived at 4pm. The girls were eating at Curry House. I arrived just when the waiter started taking our orders (excited timing). I always order the Curry Rice Plate. A small curry plate (shrimp, chicken, vegetable or beef) with fried shrimp, soup and salad for $9.95. We did self introductions, video interview for Kayo, and take pictures. Afterwards, we walked all over Little Tokyo. The weather was uber hot so we made little pit stops at a boba shop and pinkberry to cool off. Ended the evening somewhat early because everyone lived far. I enjoyed meeting new gals.

August MyGlam Bag

I'm moving in the dorms tomorrow! I'm not done packing but I want to make a post before I go back to packing all night.

Today I'll be sharing my August subscription to myglam. It came with another mesh bag. It's orange with a pink zipper. The flyer illustration is drawn by Michelle Phan. It's beautiful. I just wished the mesh bag was as beautiful. This month's bag included 6 items! I'm assuming they gave out an extra one as saying thanks for being a subscriber (hence the thank you note). I'll try my best to review the following products this week. I'm busy everyday with student orientations. Oh yeah, the theme this month is "Endless Summer".

What I got:
❤ Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream
❤ Eclos Cellular Activator Facial Serum
❤ Demeter Roll on Perfume Oil - Dragon Fruit
❤ Salty Glama-ZOIDI Eye Shadow
❤ Circus by Andrea's Choice Nail Color - Ringmaster

Hello Kitty Glasses

Check out my awesome Hello Kitty glasses~ :D

I bought this pair a while back but started wearing them recently. It has Hello Kitty's red ribbon on the left side. The whiskers kind of get in the way of my peripheral vision (not good to wear when driving). The good thing about these glasses is that they fit my asian nose. The triangular shape at the nose is a bit wider with the nose pads visibly larger. It's a great fashionable pair to wear to look more like Hello Kitty. =^_^= nya~
Price: $10.00

NuMe Hydro Punch

Last product from my July subscription from myglam. Can't wait to post August items!

Professional solution for dry or coloured hair making revolutionary synergy between traditional Moroccan Berber women, Argan oil, and innovative patented technology of SERATIN-K Protein Complex. The active ingredients replenish moisture for intense softness, movement and shine.

❤ For dry or coloured hair
❤ SERATIN-K (Patented Technology)
❤ Sage Extract
❤ Bamboo Extract
❤ Argan Oil from Morocco
❤ No parabens, parafins

Directions: Work on wet hair, massage well from scalp to hair ends and rinse thoroughly. For best results, follow with Hydro Punch Hydrating Mask.

With this size, I was only able to use it three times until it ran out (I use a lot of conditioner). Still happy that I got to try it out. I saw a difference in my hair. My hair wasn't as tangly when getting out of the shower and it did feel a little softer.

News + Daiso Haul

I have exciting news. I'm moving to college. Finally transferred out of junior college towards a 4yr university.Hallelujah!

Juice Beauty Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer

Revitalize & protect with this multi tasking lightweight daily moisturizer that combines chemical-free, broad-spectrum sun protection with age-defying peptides, DMAE, alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10 and organic fruit antioxidants to revitalize and protect for optimum age-defying benefits.

Product Info
❤ Age defy antioxidants
❤ Broad spectrum
❤ Sun protection
❤ Skin Types: Normal, Mature
❤ Skin Concerns: Wrinkles, Sun Damage, General Health

Protect and moisturize daily by applying a smooth, even layer to cleansed face and neck. Reapply as needed.

Scent: The smell has more of a lemon smell than green apple. The smell reminds me of Fruit Loops cereal. Yum!

Texture: White, thick and creamy. The same consistency has sunscreen. You have to rub the moisture in really good or else it'll leave a white residue.

The smell is alright but I was really looking forward to more of a green apple scent. My skin has been dry lately during this california heat wave. I think it's because I'm drinking too much soda and not enough water. This moisturizer helps put back the moisture into my face.

Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip Stain

Product Info
❤ Fragrance free
❤ Natural Ingredients
❤ No animal testing
❤ Paraben Free
❤ Certified vegan

Directions: Apply stain to clean dry lips or for a natural rosy flush and/or dab Magic Marker on cheeks and blend in a circular motion with fingertips.
I was very skeptical about using this but now I love it. It takes time getting used to the texture. It really feels like I'm rubbing pink highlighter on my lips. The color doesn't stain or smear. I'm surprised at the lipstick lastability. I like to apply this first then use a lipgloss over it.

Soo.. back in mid-july.. I took my best friend Sayuri to Shibuya LA (both locations). I took her to the clothing shop first. I found a few outfits that I liked and she found a few tops too but we both weren't in the mood to try on clothes. We headed to the lingerie shop which sells underwear from Japan. Elly & Grace were both working. I introduced Sayuri to Elly and Grace. We made small talk. They convinced us to try on some bras. The sizes are a bit different compared to US. My A32 is a D70 in Asia! WOW! @__@ *confidence boost*

We tried on their best seller. What can I say.. These bras are AMAZING! Grace helped us adjust the bra for maximum cleavage. YES! We ended up purchasing them. HA! I'm no longer buying from Victoria's Secret. Aimerfeel has cute, unique designs that you can't compare to VS. Shibuya LA wins.

Price: Bra set $50

Us messing around in the dressing room

Afterwards, grabbed some boba at TenRens.

Came back to Sayuri's place. Her boyfriend texted her to check the sky. Beautiful colors!
